   A federal judge ordered a trial in absentia of ten people accused over the AMIA bombing under the new law.

   Decree 172/2025 promulgated Law 27,784, which allows trial in absentia for fugitive defendants. Its main purpose was to try the Iranian suspects in the 1994 AMIA bombing.
